'For I know the plans I have for you' declares the LORD, 'Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future'.
This verse today has been very uplifting to me. Psalms 29:11 too :)

Dear Josiah,
I am a Dutch journalist for a newspaper currently writing a background piece on 'Blogging in Africa', picking out some examplary blogs and trying to contact the writers for some questions.
I was motivated to write on this because of an interview I had with Ethan Zuckerman, a name you probably know.
Your blog seems very profesional and journalistic in nature. It would be very helpful if you would be willing to answer some questions for me. 1. Why use a blog in your current situation? 2. What is your economic situation? 3. What pieces are you most proud of having discovered or written about? 4. How active is the blogging comunity in Kenya? (Any anecdotes would be very useful) 5. Any other blogs or e-mail adresses you would have for me that are particularly interesting would be very welcome as well. I understand that you value your anonimity but whatever information you are willing to give about yourself will make my description more humane and therefore more interesting.
